JOBS believes in human resource development and gives a high priority to this arena, providing training since inception. Training is considered an integral part of the JOBS Project and is defined as a systematic change in the knowledge, skills, attitude and / or behavior patterns of a person or a group of people. Entrepreneurs require training to perform the planned business activities and run their business in an effective and efficient way in order to achieve sustainable growth and expansion of their enterprise. Training provide capacity development assistance to address requisite need of the participants. Training also works to explore and expand the human capabilities within targeted sectors, allows participants to realize their potentials.
Assistance  

The JOBS Training Team provides a variety of training assistance opportunities, available year round.

  • Developing a resource base at the national and international NGO/MFI level

  • Planning for the successful start up of new businesses

  • Managing on-going enterprises effectively

  • Marketing products and services

  • Accessing capital and using local resources

  • Improving technical skills related to products, services, and technology

  • Costing, pricing , depreciation calculation and general financial management

  • Building capacity of NGOs/MFIs on the effective implementation of enterprise development programs

Training conduction
  • Provide Training of Trainers (TOT) on Entrepreneurship Development and Business Management (EDBM) to national and international NGOs for developing their resource base.  

  • Provide TOT on Enterprise Development to national and international NGOs for developing their resource base 

  • Provide EDBM Training to ILO, HKI, IVS, PKSF, Peace Corps Bangladesh, Proshika, EDFC, BURO Tangail, SSS, TMSS, SATU, HEED Bangladesh, CCDA, TARD, PRADIPAN, UDDIRAN, Shakti Foundation,  Banarashi Palli Mirpur, Shoe Cluster Mirpur and also to other 50 more NGOs. 

  • Provide TOT on Designing Course Curriculum and Improving Facilitation Skills to national and international NGOs.
