Mr. Imran Shauket, Country Director, JOBS/IRIS Bangladesh has recently attended a seminar organized by ITC/WTO (International Trade Center) at Geneva during April 26-30 on the eve of International Trade Center’s 40^th anniversary. The seminar which was organized to determine the strategy and the action plan for ITC – the trade facilitation body of United Nation, in the coming years was also attended by delegates from all over the world. On the 28^th Mr. Shauket made a presentation on the JOBS/IRIS and ITC’s collaboration and the success of the recent joint activities of ITC and JOBS in Bangladesh. During his visit, Mr. Shauket met the Executive Director of ITC as well as the directors of the different programs within the ITC and had fruitful discussion on future collaboration on areas like market analysis for export diversification, advice on market access, product development, product selection, trade negotiation mechanisms and preparedness, etc.
